CCS warmly welcomes Stacey Dolan as our new administrative support assistant. Dolan will play a vital role in helping the CCS run smoothly on a day-to-day basis by supporting our leadership team, and special events. Stacey’s background is a unique blend of engineering and biology, which builds on the diverse expertise of our team at CCS.
As a child, Dolan grew up surrounded by abundant wildlife in Massachusetts and spent her summers at the Wachusett Meadow Nature Camps. Her childhood, filled with discoveries of natural wonders, sparked a deep connection for the environment and a passion for conservation.
Dolan’s passion for learning led her to obtain a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Worcester Polytechnic Institute, a master’s in Mechanical Engineering at UF, followed by a post-baccalaureate in Zoology and Animal Biology at UF, and most recently a master’s in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology from Clemson University.
Previously, Dolan worked at the National Renewable Energy Lab in Colorado as a Renewable Energy Life Cycle Analyst, conducting environmental impact assessments of a whole cycle of a technology, and as a Field Assistant at Mass Audubon monitoring piping plovers and least terns and their nesting on the south shore of Massachusetts.
